This video demonstrates the capabilities of the Inbound Warranty Claim which has been delivered with SAP CRM 7.0 EhP1. An inbound warranty claim represents the claim of an external service provider directed eg to an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for reimbursement of the costs which the service partner had when performing a service for an end customer of the OEM. The intended result of this process is a credit memo to the service provider. The video shows a claim generated automatically from a service confirmation. But a claim could also be created manually, based on a service order, or independently of any preceding document.
