Using the Design Layer in CRM 7.0 to centrally re-label a field in a particular form view and having this maintenance applied to all views in which this field label is maintained and related to.
I have a question though, why did you used Design layer to rename the label? Can’t it be done through UI configuration field properties? Is it because it needs to be renamed across all views?

Thats exactly what it does, although it may be be difficult to grasp on a video, but it renames the label not only in this one view ,but all associated views that the design object it tied to.
