This review is from: Building Dynamics CRM 2015 Dashboards with Power BI (Paperback)
Superb book for a wide ranging audience as the book outlines in the preface. The book does a great job of breaking down how to build a sales productivity dashboard in a way that’s easy to follow. Lots of visuals and step-by-steps! The way ‘warnings’ and ‘tips and tricks’ are called out make them easy to spot and refer back to. I especially liked the section on combining CRM and ERP data and building a combined Customer Health Report to include in the sales productivity dashboard.

Great reference for Power BI and CRM reporting, November 13, 2015

This is an indispensable book for Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online customers or anyone looking for advanced reporting and dashboards with rich visualizations. It covers the desktop, cloud, and mobile versions of Power BI and most of what is covered is applicable to any source of data. The chapters are arranged to guide the report design through an increasing level of sophistication, but each chapter finishes with a state of completion. Each chapter describes what will be accomplished, step-by-step instructions that are clearly laid out and easy to follow, and a summary review which also gives a taste of how to build upon the prior work.

This book provides material for both the novice and experienced report designers and has enough technical content to keep my interest. I will continue to use this as a reference when I need to jog my memory. And I will certainly recommend this book to my colleagues.
